The uncertainty with European and British politicians would have caused many companies like ESS Universal to have protocols in place should the unthinkable happen such as trade tariff’s. ESS Universal UK sister company in the USA ESS Universal USA is currently dealing with import tariffs from their stock that comes from China. Mr William Lewis who is the CEO of the ESS group parent company ‘ESS Global’ has said that plans are being executed to cease all manufacturing of contract bunk beds in China and move all operations to its new updated facilities in Hanoi Vietnam to avoid the USA tariff’s. Giving that ESS Universal UK Brexit scare, we have learned that the United Kingdom plans to strike a deal with many countries around the globe including ASEAN countries like Vietnam.
ESS Universal management has indicated that Contract bunk beds and Brexit will not clash, they strongly believe their commitment to their client base will be unchanged in every aspect. ESS UK went on to say that if necessary they will bring forward plans to establish a distribution warehouse on the mainland, perhaps Belgium or the Netherlands.
